Know Your Rights as a Pregnant Student

You have certain rights, as a pregnant student, determined by the federal government. The U.S. Department of Education prohibits discrimination. This includes pregnancy and parental status. Due to your pregnancy or childbirth, you can’t be kept from classes, studies, or extracurricular activities. Your school will excuse your absences.
